A big thanks to all our recent fundraisers!
…for the continuation of agricultural education.
The Randall Beckendorff Memorial Scholarship Fund was founded in 1980 in memory of Randall Mark (Randy) Beckendorff. This scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to the student who is of average scholastic performance, but who is extremely dedicated and hard-working, and who is interested in pursuing an education in the field of agriculture. The Scholarship Committee takes an active interest in its recipients, and the Fund has a very high percentage of recipients who have graduated from their chosen colleges. *We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.*
To be eligible to apply for the Randall Beckendorff Memorial Scholarship, the student must be a senior graduating from a Katy Independent School District high school.
A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required, and the student must be pursuing an education in the field of agriculture.
The Randall Beckendorff Memorial Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code. 100% of donated funds are distributed directly to students of the Katy Independent School District to further their agricultural education.
